Privacy policy
Velvet Mantra ("we", "us") is a trade name of Sophiya Jackee Lobo, proprietor, Plot No. 13, Survey No. 65/1/2/1/1, Near Motiwala College, Gangapur, Nashik 422222, Maharashtra. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and its Rules.
What we collect

We do not see or store your bank or card details. We ask for your UPI ID only to send a refund. Payments are handled by our payment partner.

We never sell your personal data.
Cookies and the Meta pixel
- Our site uses cookies to keep your cart working and to remember your settings.
- We use the Meta pixel. It tells Meta when someone views a product, adds to cart or buys, so we can show our ads to the right people and measure them. You can control ad settings in your Facebook / Instagram account, and clear or block cookies in your browser.
Your consent
By placing an order or messaging us, you agree to us using your data for the purposes above. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us. We will still keep what the law requires (for example, tax records).
How long we keep it
- Order and invoice records: as long as GST and income-tax law requires us to keep them.
- Other data: only while needed for the purpose above, then deleted.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- ask what data we hold about you,
- ask us to correct or update it,
- ask us to delete it (where the law allows),
- withdraw consent,
- raise a complaint with us, and if not resolved, with the Data Protection Board of India,
- nominate someone to act for you.
